Make yourself comfortable as you get ready to sleep. I will count down backwards from 100 as you become more relaxed and go to sleep.

Sleep Countdown Relaxation Script

Make yourself comfortable as you get ready to sleep. I will count down backwards from 100 as you become more relaxed and go to sleep.

Let’s begin the sleep countdown relaxation. 

100 – close your eyes, and allow your breathing to slow down. Let the worries of the day go as you relax, getting ready to go to sleep.

99 – Allow your breathing to be calm and regular. Settle in, and allow your muscles to begin to relax.

98 – Let your face relax. Soften your cheeks. Let your eyebrows relax. Relax your mouth. Let your entire face be soft and relaxed. Keep breathing slowly and peacefully.

97 – Relax your neck. Let the muscles of your neck become loose and limp, letting your head rest gently. 

96 – Let the relaxation continue from your neck…down to your shoulders. Allow your shoulders to become completely limp. Let all the tension go. Feel the slight movement of your shoulders as they loosen and respond to gravity, ever so slightly lowering as the muscles of your shoulders relax.

95 – Keep breathing slowly. Allow your breaths to become so calm…so gentle…feel your chest and stomach softly rising and falling. So rhythmic and peaceful.

94 – Relax your arms. Let your arms become totally limp, all the way to your hands. Relax your hands…limp and loose and relaxed. 

93 – Your hands and arms might feel a little bit heavy…so pleasantly heavy and relaxed.

92 – Imagine a pleasant feeling of warmth in your hands. Imagine your hands becoming so warm and heavy and relaxed. Keep breathing slowly and peacefully.
